FluxPress

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 26, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of fluxpress.io, our free WordPress plugins, our Pro plugin licenses, and our WordPress services. By using any of the above, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use our website, plugins, or services.

1. About FluxPress

FluxPress is a WordPress development brand operated from India by Uzair. We:

  • Publish free, open-source WordPress plugins on WordPress.org
  • Sell Pro plugin licenses through Freemius, who acts as the merchant of record
  • Provide WordPress services (speed optimization, bug fixes, help & consultation) through Fiverr under the username uzairwp

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, downloading our plugins, purchasing a Pro license, or hiring us for services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental permission) and you accept these Terms in full.

3. Free Plugins

Our free plugins on WordPress.org — including Easy Search Replace, EasyFonts, Easy Optimizer, and Remove Google Fonts — are licensed under the GPL v2 or later. You are free to use, modify, and redistribute them under the terms of the GPL.

Free plugins are provided “as-is” with no warranty of any kind. We make best efforts to keep them functional, secure, and updated, but we cannot guarantee fitness for any specific purpose.

Support for free plugins is offered on a best-effort basis through the WordPress.org support forums.

4. Pro Plugins (sold via Freemius)

Licensing

When you purchase a Pro license, you receive a license through Freemius. The license entitles you to:

  • Use the Pro version on the number of sites your purchased plan covers
  • Receive plugin updates while your license is active
  • Receive priority email support during your license term

The Pro plugin code is licensed for your use under the active license. Reselling, redistributing, or sharing the Pro plugin outside the GPL terms attached to it is not permitted under our license agreement.

Payments

All payments are processed by Freemius, which acts as the merchant of record. Your billing relationship is with Freemius. Their full terms apply: https://freemius.com/terms/.

Refunds

We honor refund requests within 14 days of purchase if the plugin doesn’t work as described and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time. Refunds are processed by Freemius according to their refund policy.

Renewals

Pro licenses are subscription-based and renew automatically unless cancelled through your Freemius account. After cancellation or expiry, the plugin continues to function but stops receiving updates and support.

5. WordPress Services (delivered via Fiverr)

Our WordPress services — speed optimization, bug fixes, help & consultation — are delivered exclusively through Fiverr. By hiring us for services, you also agree to Fiverr’s Terms of Service: https://www.fiverr.com/terms_of_service.

Scope

Each Fiverr gig has its own scope, deliverables, delivery time, and revisions. The gig description is the binding scope of work.

Refunds & Guarantees

Refund or guarantee requests must be made through Fiverr’s Resolution Center. We honor the specific guarantees promised in each gig — for example:

  • Speed optimization: 3-day money-back guarantee if the promised PageSpeed score is not achieved
  • Bug fixes: 30-day warranty — if the same issue returns within 30 days, we fix it free

Site Access

When you provide login credentials (WP-Admin, FTP, cPanel, etc.), you authorize us to make the changes described in the gig. We recommend creating a temporary admin user that you delete after delivery.

Backups

We take a full backup before making any changes. You remain responsible for maintaining your own independent backups before, during, and after our work.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The FluxPress brand, logo, website design, and original content (text, images, code samples) are the intellectual property of FluxPress and Uzair.
  • Free plugins are licensed under GPL v2+ (see Section 3).
  • Pro plugin code is licensed under your active Freemius license (see Section 4).
  • Blog content may be linked to and briefly quoted with attribution, but full republication is not permitted without written consent.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree:

  • Not to attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or bypass licensing of our Pro plugins
  • Not to use our plugins or services for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Not to spam our contact form, blog comments, or support channels
  • To provide accurate, truthful information when contacting us, hiring us, or purchasing a license
  • To ensure you have the legal right to grant us access to any website you ask us to work on

8. Disclaimers

  • Our free plugins are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee specific PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals, or SEO outcomes outside of what is explicitly promised in a paid Fiverr gig.
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party themes, plugins, hosting providers, server configurations, or modifications made to your site after our work is delivered.
  • Backups are your ongoing responsibility.
  • Our services are technical in nature and do not constitute legal, financial, or business advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

FluxPress and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of our website, plugins, or services.

Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid us (via Fiverr or Freemius) in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For users of our free plugins, our total liability is limited to providing reasonable support to address the issue or, at our discretion, removing the plugin from distribution.

10. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services (Freemius, Fiverr, WordPress.org, Cloudflare, Google, hosting providers) to operate our business. We are not responsible for their service interruptions, policy changes, downtime, or actions. Each third party operates under its own terms.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FluxPress and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of our plugins or services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Pro plugins or services if you breach these Terms. Free plugins distributed under GPL on WordPress.org remain available regardless.

You may stop using our website, plugins, or services at any time.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India — except where:

  • Fiverr’s Terms of Service govern (for service-related disputes)
  • Freemius’s Terms govern (for billing or license-related disputes)

In those cases, the respective platform’s dispute process applies first.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our website, plugins, or services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
